Siân Sayers (Evans) B.A.(Hons) Lic.Ac, MBAcC Licensed Acupuncturist, Stratford upon Avon

My name is Siân Sayers (Evans) I am a licensed traditional acupuncturist and owner of Stratford Acupuncture.  I run two clinics in Stratford upon Avon, a private clinic treating patients one to one and also a community multi bed hub treating up to four patients at time.

Stratford Acupuncture

I hold a BA (Hons) Degree and a License to Practice Acupuncture from The College of Traditional Acupuncture (CTA) in Hatton, where I completed three years of full-time study. As Europe’s oldest college specialising in Five Element Acupuncture, CTA was renowned for its excellence until its closure in 2012. After qualifying, I spent six months providing cancer care acupuncture treatments to outpatients and staff at Myton Hospice before establishing my clinic in Stratford-upon-Avon.

I have a particular interest in women’s health, with a focus on fertility and the positive effects acupuncture can have on natural conception or medically assisted fertility treatments like IVF and IUI. Since 2013, I have helped many patients achieve their dreams of starting a family, often resulting in what I affectionately call ‘Acubabies.’

As women transition through different stages of life, I provide holistic support for hormonal changes, including menstrual health, perimenopause, and menopause. My treatments are designed to address symptoms such as hot flashes, mood swings, fatigue, and sleep disturbances, promoting balance and well-being during these phases.

Beyond acupuncture, I offer personalised advice on self-care practices, including nutrition, sleep hygiene, stress management, and lifestyle adjustments. I emphasise the importance of nurturing mental and emotional health to support physical well-being, offering guidance on relaxation techniques, mindfulness, and reducing anxiety. With my integrative approach, I aim to help women feel empowered to navigate life’s changes with confidence and vitality.

I am committed to continual professional development (CPD) and dedicate many hours each year to expanding my expertise. My focus includes diverse acupuncture styles such as Tung, Auricular, Fertility, Facial Acupuncture, Menopause Masterclass, and Pain Management. Additionally, I pursue training in areas that complement and enhance my business and patient care, including The Community Acupuncture School, business management training, and online marketing strategies.

Stratford Acupuncture is fully registered with the British Acupuncture Council, The Association of Community and Multi-Bed Clinics, the Professional Standards Authority, Acupuncture Fertility Network and is listed with many private healthcare providers.

Most recently, I earned the MASCED Accreditation, a program developed by SKCIN, a leading melanoma and skin cancer charity. This initiative aims to improve early detection of skin cancer and melanoma by raising awareness of their early signs and symptoms, ultimately improving outcomes and saving lives.

Since 2017, I have worked as a Clinical Supervisor at the Acupuncture Academy in Leamington Spa, where I oversee third-year clinical students as they treat patients. My role involves mentoring students in diagnosis, treatment planning, and ensuring successful completion of their assessments.

Drawing on over a decade of experience, I also offer supervision and mentorship to both new graduates launching their practices and experienced practitioners seeking support. Whether it’s refining treatment plans, improving patient care, or developing business strategies, I am passionate about helping others thrive in their acupuncture careers.
